Gianluca Volpetti’s grandfather opened this deli in 1920. The shelves are filled with Italian delicacies, from truffles to olive oil, cheese, and prosciutto and more kinds of pasta than Rome has churches. The man himself swears the €78 Amarone he stocks is the “best in Italy.”
