Budapest’s green lung is an island in the middle of the Danube, mostly covered in landscaped parks. It’s a popular spot for locals, especially joggers.

As the evening sun shines down, romantics take over the Liberty Bridge with bread, cheese and wine in their picnic baskets.
Palace of Miracles
In the Campona Shopping Mall you’ll find this interactive science museum for kids. Try out the low-gravity “moonwalk” or the “miracle bike.”

The Budapest opera house was built in 1884 and is one of Europe’s most beautiful Neo-Renaissance buildings. Go on a tour in the building during the day or enjoy a top class performance in the evening.

Hungary is a land of thermal springs and Budapest is the only capital city in the world that is rich in thermal waters. Budapest is in fact known as the “city of baths.” Visit Széchenyi Baths, Gellért Baths or Rudas Baths.
