The most romantic hotels in Oslo
Siri Løining loves hotels. Not only has she managed the fashionable Grand Hotel on Karl Johans gate, but she also writes about them in KK magazine, among others. She also runs PR agency Story Days.
“I can really recommend these hotels because I’ve tried them out myself,” the enthusiastic and quality-conscious hotel reviewer tells Scandinavian Traveler.

Camillas Hus
“I love this little boutique hotel in Parkveien,” Løining tells Scandinavian Traveler. “It only has seven rooms.” The rooms are beautifully furnished with four-poster beds, chaise longues and gorgeous fabrics. It’s centrally located behind the castle and has coffee shops and a range of restaurants right on its doorstep.

The Thief
A stay on the island of Tjuvholmen right next to Aker Brygge is like having a vacation in Rome. Tjuvholmen offers a wide selection of restaurants and bars and you can also bathe at the new beach that has been constructed here. You’ll get a really good night’s sleep in The Thief’s wonderful beds. You only have to call down for champagne or anything else you want; the staff here make sure you get everything you desire. For a lovely view, simply take the elevator to the top of the hotel and enjoy a sundowner.

Saga Oslo
“I like this hotel because it makes you feel at home right away. It’s also very close to everything Oslo has to offer.” Saga Hotel Oslo is in Frogner and received a design award from the Norwegian Design Council in 2012.

The wine cellar here has been named one of the best in the world.” The hotel lies in a beautiful location on a hill at Voksenkollen. Lysebu has been a winner at the World Luxury Hotel Awards.
